I am sitting having a few moments to contemplate the start to 2013. We have started at a fast pace with 2 childrens parties, 1 Hen party (the biggest yet - 22 hens), 1 pasta class and Glos Young Carers creating lots of yummy chocolates, all by 6th of Jan. Phew, it feels like we need a holiday again!
I am very excited about the plans we have for 2013 to introduce more people to cooking and baking. We will also have our own dining room and small conference area so we can improve our services to the Corporate world.
Looking out of the window of the Cookery School yesterday I could see signs of spring returning after a very wet Christmas period, even the snowdrops are starting to raise their heads. If you want to capture their beauty we have Pat running a sugarcraft class on Tuesday at 6.30pm making Snowdrops. I can also see our Earth Oven sitting waiting for us to start cooking with fire. We will be holding a community lighting ceremony at the begining of Feb where we will be baking bread. All will be welcome.
